Digging the dirt, unearthing the truth

As read by Ealing Council’s Press Office

Visit to Southall Waterside (aka The Green Quarter)

Visit To #SouthallWaterside

1:40 @damian_leydon 'We had to shut the site for 2 days when it snowed, it was unsafe... it cost me a lot of money to shut the site, but it was the right decision... We all know that ice can be dangerous!'

#SouthallLivesMatter

2:07 Visitor: 'Can we go into the soil hospital?'

@damian_leydon 'Er... no. No we won't be able to go in there today.'

#SouthallWaterside #MakingSouthallStink #Southall

Old story, but: 'Berkeley Homes is threatening hundreds of homebuyers with bankruptcy...' @BerkeleyGroupUK #SouthallWaterside #BuyerBeware #BrexitShambles

.@VirendraSharma said, 'We need to oppose the development of the gas works site' by @BerkeleyGroupUK:

1:20 'It will be a burden on the local community, it will be a disaster environmentally...'

less than a minute later, @VirendraSharma was all for it, of course, cosying up to 'Mr Boris'.

Of course, it was that clown, @BorisJohnson who undemocratically overruled elected local authorities @Hillingdon and @EalingCouncil @juliangbell. #SouthallShambles

We all know that ice can be dangerous. Of course. What about benzene and asbestos, some of the contaminants being 'cleaned' in the soil 'hospital' @damian_leydon @VirendraSharma @juliangbell @journo_martinp? #SouthallWaterside

Of course, it was Tim Metcalf, aggregates and asphalt director at @FMConwayltd who said, 'Only water vapour is emitted by the [Heathrow] plant’s chimney stack.' #MakingSouthallStinkgetwestlondon.co.uk/news/west-lond…

Which doesn't tally with what @Hillingdon's environmental protection officer told me, that @FMConwayltd increased the height of the chimney by 10m, 'to better disperse the odours.' Oops!

So, we know that @FMConwayltd, best buddies with @BerkeleyGroupUK, are lying shits, who don't give fuck about people. Who knew? #SouthallLivesMatter

Tim Metcalf, again: @FMConwayltd's Heathrow Asphalt plant has 'never been closed down for any infringement of our environmental permit.'

.@EalingCouncil 'leader' and @VirendraSharma researcher @juliangbell: 'FMConway were shut down by Hillingdon Council for around 2 weeks after being served an enforcement notice in spring of this year.'

And then we @VirendraSharma, himself: '...placing them in breach of their environmental permit...' #MakingSouthallStink #Southall @journo_martinp

Known effects of asphalt fumes (cancer, asthma, nausea, etc.):

Tim Metcalf of @FMConwayltd: Heathrow Asphalt 'does not pose a hazard to the health of our workers or residents.'

#SouthallLivesMatternj.gov/health/eoh/rtk…

My apologies. It's not @damian_leydon playing to the camera, it's his sidekick @Rickwatler...

Excerpts from a @PHE_uk report from 2015 into @FMConwayltd's Heathrow Asphalt plant.

The same applies to toxic emissions and air pollution from @berkeleygroupuk's #SouthallWaterside as far as I can see (I'm no expert, of course).
